Nehal Aamir

Moving to the UK attracted Nehal to its multicultural society and the complexity of Manchester. This made her aware of her own cultural influences even more. She is primarily concerned with Muslim communities and their relationships between these individuals and their environment going about their daily lives.  Exploring the issues which she has faced trying to fuse her Pakistani Muslim identity into the British contemporary society. She expresses the difficulties of being an independent woman through the perspective of her Pakistani heritage.
